I have been on a kick to get more healthy. Yes, I am trying to exercise, but I feel the biggest way I can improve my health is to change my diet. I am looking to get more protein, greens and fruits into my diet. I have looked at the research and it is clear that a diet high in veggies and plant protein is more healthy.

So how do you get more veggies and protein into your diet? One popular idea is to have a Green Smoothie or some type of homemade protein shakes. The only problem is – every time I try to make a green smoothie protein shake it tastes terrible.
I turned to Google in my quest to find a green smoothie that was packed with nutrients and still tasted okay. After a few hours of searching I stumbled upto this homemade protein shake recipe –
Perfect Plant Protein?
I was intrigued by this recipe as I love Pina Coladas and the idea of a green Pina Colada sounded perfect. I ordered the Perfect Plant Protein the recommend and I have to say the protein shake was terrific. No, not as sweet as a Pina Colada, but still very enjoyable and about 1,000 times more healthy.
